Koiri Kowhaiwhai pattern represents adaptability and change
Heru - Decorative Comb
Description
The large heru are made of 4.5mm thick acrylic and from top to tip is 170mm in height. The koiri pattern is one we use a lot because of its meaning. It talks of how we grow and change as we learn. When we learn something new, something better, we adapt. The hope is that we share this new learning with our whanau, so that we all prosper from this new knowledge.
These heru are decorative only. This means it is recommended that you tie your hair in a ponytail or bun first, then place the heru in the back of the tied section of hair, closest to your head.
